Watertown – Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt and District Attorney Kurt Klomberg announced today they are endorsing John Jagler in the race to represent the 13th Senate District in Madison.

“From working to enforce election laws, to supporting families ravaged by opioids, and standing with police and prosecutors, John Jagler is the leader we need to guarantee the public is safe and law and order prevails,” said Klomberg.

“I’m honored to have the support of the sheriff and the district attorney,” Jagler said. “I have backed the badge in Madison and I’m proud they are backing me in my race for senate.”

In addition, Jagler also received the endorsement of the Milwaukee Police Association.

“During these increasingly trying times, the over 1,400 men and women of the Milwaukee Police Association appreciate leaders like John who are willing to stand and be an advocate for Law Enforcement Professionals,” said President Dale Bormann Jr.

Previously, Congressman Scott Fitzgerald, former Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch and 39th District State Representative Mark Born announced their endorsements of Jagler in the special election. The primary will be held February 16th and the General Election on April 6th.
