State superintendent candidate Deb Kerr’s campaign released its first TV ad of the general election, again calling for state schools to reopen for in-person learning.

Kerr’s campaign said the ad will run on cable and broadcast TV, but declined to release additional details.

Kerr says in the ad that science shows that it is safe to return kids to school, adding we “can no longer play politics with our children. Let’s safely reopen our schools.”

“I’m running for state superintendent because our parents and children are not winning,” she says.
