[Waukesha, WI] – Rebecca Kleefisch is throwing her support behind Senate Bill 585, a bill that requires schools to report crime data and for that information to be accessible on a school’s yearly accountability report card.

“As a mom, it’s important to me that we are standing on the side of parents who just want what is best for their children. Allowing parents to know if their local school is safe should be common sense,” Kleefisch said. “Parents across the country and in Wisconsin are making it clear that they want more transparency at their schools and this bill delivers. The Legislature would be wise to pass SB 585, and Tony Evers should sign it right away.”
