Fields’ term will begin January 2022 and he will hold the office for two years.
Madison, WI –The Madison Region Economic Partnership (MadREP) today announced the election of CEO Jason M. Fields, to the office of Regional Leadership Council (RLC) president.
“Having chaired the RLC for two years, I was beyond grateful that Jason would step up and agree to lead,” outgoing chair Gordon Crow of Centergy said. “This council is positioned to achieve great things under his leadership.”
The RLC is a coalition of the executive directors of the state’s regional economic development organizations: Visions Northwest, Momentum West, Grow North, The 7 Rivers Alliance, Prosperity Southwest, Madison Region Economic Partnership (MadREP), The Milwaukee 7, The New North and Centergy. These nine regional economic development partners around the state facilitate and coordinate resources and support for local businesses.
“I was honored to be nominated and elected to the role so soon after joining MadREP and the RLC,” said Fields. “This past year connecting with my colleagues throughout the state has been a wonderful learning experience on how we can work together to build and implement a collaborative statewide growth strategy.”
The unanimous vote took place during the group’s regular meeting on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
