MILWAUKEE — Dr. Jeffrey Hales, Charles T. Zlatkovich Centennial Professor of Accounting at the University of Texas at Austin and chair of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, will be the keynote speaker for the Sustainability 2.0 Conference hosted by the Marquette University College of Business Administration on Monday, Oct. 11, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Alumni Memorial Union, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave.
Hales’ talk, “Jumping ahead: What to expect from ESG policy in 2022,” will address the continuing ways that global sustainability standards are shaping business. The conference will also feature four panels discussing a new era of sustainability, featuring top thought leaders from academia and nonprofit organizations, as well as chief sustainability executives from firms across a variety of industries.
