Menomonie, WI —Today, Eau Claire City Council Member Emily Berge announced her endorsement of Deb McGrath for Wisconsin’s third Congressional district. Berge has served for four years on the Eau Claire City Council and is a mental health counselor. The endorsement comes after the endorsement of former Assemblyman and gubernatorial candidate Dana Wachs and the news that Deb raised $100,000 in her first day in the race.

“With over two decades as an Army, Foreign Service, and CIA officer, Deb has the strength we need to be our next Congresswoman,” said Eau Claire City Council Member Emily Berge. “She understands how critical it is to build out broadband infrastructure, make health care affordable – including mental healthcare – and help our farmers and small businesses.”

“I am proud to receive Emily Berge’s endorsement. Emily is a leader in our community who understands the importance of health care, business opportunity and internet access,” said Deb McGrath. “I look forward to joining Emily in Eau Claire to hear about community concerns, and getting out across the district to listen to voters.”
