MILWAUKEE, WI – The Milwaukee Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression will hold a picket this Friday, December 17th, 2021, on the intersection of Holton and Brady at 5:00PM. The picket is being hosted to show solidarity with Theodore Edgecomb and his family. His family will be in attendance.
The Milwaukee Alliance stands in support of Theodore Edgecomb because everybody should have the right to self defense in response to deadly racist attacks. The narrative up until a week ago is that Jason Cleereman, Edgecomb’s racist attacker, was a victim. New evidence shows that this is absolutely not the case. Especially in light of the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict, it is important to make sure that everyone has a right to self defense. If Theodore Edgecomb is not allowed his right to self defense, it only further proves that the Rittenhouse verdict is meant to give power to racist vigilantes and no one else.
