MILWAUKEE (August 6, 2021) — Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) and the City of Milwaukee Health Department (MHD) are hosting the second of two events for the 20th Annual Back-to-School Health Fair. After the first event at Barack Obama School on July 30, 2021, the second health fair will be at the Southside Health Center today, Friday, August 6, 2021.
Free school-required vaccinations, COVID-19 vaccinations, and additional health services and information will be available for children, families, and the community. No appointment is necessary. School supplies and backpacks will also be given away to students on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Staff from MPS and MHD will be on-site and available to answer any questions regarding the event.
