Washington, D.C. – The Democrat primary race in Wisconsin is already poised to be one of the nastiest primaries in the country. Two of the top WI Democratic candidates are Sarah Godlewski and Alex Lasry, who we refer to as the liar and the cheater.
Godlewski was pegged for a liar when she was caught inflating her resume, particularly when it was revealed that she doesn’t have a master’s degree after all. Over the years, several publications and websites have said she has a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Pennsylvania. That is not the case.
Lasry was coined a cheater in February when he thought it was okay to use his wealth and power to cut in line ahead of vulnerable, elderly Wisconsinites to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Looks like he is already putting himself before the people he is vying to represent. Not a good look.
Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Lizzie Litzow: “As the Democrat primary in Wisconsin gets heated, it’s clear that Wisconsinites deserve better than choosing between a liar or a cheater to represent them in the U.S. Senate. They deserve a Senator who will always put their constituents before themselves and who won’t lie about their resume to get ahead. But Godlewski and Lasry don’t seem to agree. This is only the beginning; what else can we expect from these two?”
