LA CROSSE, WI – Today, State Senator Brad Pfaff, candidate for Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District, announced that his campaign has been endorsed by Former U.S. Senator Herb Kohl.

“Brad Pfaff has proven that he will stand up for what’s right and fight for the people of Wisconsin,” said Senator Kohl. “He demonstrated that from the first day he came to work with me more than 25 years ago. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of family farmers, workers and communities in western Wisconsin and beyond.

Brad has the experience, the values and the dedication it takes to win this election and bring people together to tackle the challenges we face. In tough times like this, I’m encouraged that Brad has stepped up to run and I am especially pleased to offer my endorsement of his candidacy to represent Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District.

Brad is hard working, honest and never forgets where he came from or who he’s working for. We can’t sit on the sidelines here.  The stakes are too high.  Please join me in doing everything we can to help Brad win.”

“I am proud to receive Senator Kohl’s endorsement and I thank him for his support,” said Pfaff. “Senator Kohl taught me a great deal about public service and the importance of staying true to your values. We need more of his kind of leadership in our political system today. He was nobody’s Senator but ours and he always put the interests of his constituents first when making decisions.”

“His dedication to investing in our rural communities and family farmers is something he and I will always have in common. He listened and learned from Wisconsinites of all backgrounds and never forgot who he was working for in Washington. That’s the approach that I will take in Congress. I thank him for his trust in me and I look forward to working with him on our campaign and beyond.”

Brad was raised on a dairy farm in northern La Crosse County and has dedicated his career to serving Wisconsin communities and family farmers. Elected to the Wisconsin State Senate in 2020, Brad has worked to support small businesses, ensure our kids can get an excellent education, provide tax relief for middle class families and defend a free and fair democracy. Brad also understands the challenges faced by Wisconsin’s family farmers. Brad has been a leader in the development of agriculture and economic policy working with former U.S. Senator Herb Kohl and U.S. Representative Ron Kind.
