MADISON – State Representative Janel Brandtjen (R-Menomonee Falls) issued the following statement regarding the Wisconsin Elections Commission’s refusal to provide information:

“The Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) has yet to respond to five valid complaints bought forward by The Wisconsin Voter Alliance regarding WEC’s involvement with the Zuckerberg-funded, democrat-activist group Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL). These complaints were filed several months ago and even the City of Madison has become impatient with WEC. Madison’s City Attorney and former Government Accountability Board (GAB) official Michael Haas sent WEC an inquiry to find out when they will respond to the complaints.

The same commission that denied Kanye West access to the ballot because he was (allegedly) 17 seconds late, has a double standard when it comes to meeting its own deadlines. The unequal application of our laws cannot be tolerated by the legislature.”
