She is extraordinarily smart, energetic, and knows how to inspire a new generation of leaders. I could not be more pleased to continue to serve in a caucus with Representative Neubauer at the helm.”
Representative Hesselbein also released the following statement congratulating her successor Assistant Leader-elect Representative Kalan Haywood (D – Milwaukee):
“Serving as Assistant Leader for the past five years has been a true honor. Representative Haywood is a passionate advocate for his constituents and the people of our state. He has been a team player for our caucus and will undoubtedly provide the commitment it takes to be successful in this role.
