MADISON – Assembly Majority Leader Jim Steineke (R-Kaukauna) issued the following statement after State Representative Amy Loudenbeck (R-Clinton) announced today that she will not seek reelection to the state Assembly in 2022:

“Representative Loudenbeck is a model legislator in so many ways. Her willingness to tackle difficult policy issues is unmatched and the energy and enthusiasm she brings to this job each and every day is second-to-none.

“Having been elected together as a part of the incoming class of legislators in 2010, I am grateful to say we became close friends over the years. I will sorely miss her expertise and leadership here in the Assembly.

“I wish Amy and her husband Matt all the best and am absolutely confident Amy will excel in whatever she chooses to do in the future.”
