MADISON –Representative Lisa Subeck (D-Madison) has named Captain Timothy Patton of the City of Madison Police Department West District as the First Responder of the Year for the 78th Assembly District. Captain Patton has been with the Madison Police Department for 19 years and has served as captain of the West District for nearly three years.

“It is an honor to name Captain Patton the First Responder of the Year for the 78th Assembly District,” said Rep. Subeck. “Captain Patton is lifelong resident of the 78th Assembly District, so presenting the award to him for his service and sacrifice to our community is all that more meaningful.”

In recognition of October being First Responder Appreciation Month, the Assembly will honor first responders from each Assembly District during a Hometown Heroes award ceremony in conjunction with tomorrow’s planned session day.

Representative Lisa Subeck has represented the 78th Assembly District since 2015 and serves as vice-chair of the Assembly Democratic Caucus.
