(Madison, WI)—Senator Brad Pfaff (D-Onalaska) issued the following statement regarding the announcement that Department of Administration (DOA) Secretary Joel Brennan will lead the Greater Milwaukee Committee.
“Secretary Brennan is a champion for economic development and responsible government. Over the past three years, he has navigated unprecedented challenges with confidence, steady leadership, and humility.”
“It has been an honor and pleasure to work with Secretary Brennan in the Evers Administration and during my tenure as State Senator. I am confident he will succeed in his new role.”
Brennan has served in Governor Evers’ administration since 2019 and will become President of the Greater Milwaukee Committee beginning in 2022. Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) Secretary Kathy Blumenfeld will serve as Secretary-designee of DOA upon Brennan’s departure.
“Secretary Blumenfeld brings decades of leadership experience with her to DOA. She will continue to ensure our state government works for the people of Wisconsin.”
