MADISON – The following is a statement from Senator Bob Wirch and Representatives Tip McGuire and Tod Ohnstad on the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse:
“Today, the jury began their deliberations in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. The past year has been incredibly difficult for so many in Kenosha, and no matter the outcome of this trial, it does not change the fact that our community is still grieving and still healing from the events of August 2020. When a verdict is rendered, above all, please respect the tireless work that has been put in day after day by so many in Kenosha to help bring this community back together.”
