Madison…Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) released the following statement regarding the announcement that Representative Jeremy Thiesfeldt (R-Fond du Lac) will not seek re-election to the State Assembly.
“I would like to thank Rep. Thiesfeldt for his tireless service to his community and the state of Wisconsin. He has held six consecutive terms for the 52nd Assembly District and has provided his education expertise to our caucus.
“Jeremy served as the Chair of the Committee on Education and Vice-Chair of the Committee on Constitution and Ethics and has authored numerous pieces of legislation advocating for our kids. One of his great achievements being the advancements in Wisconsin’s School Choice Program.
“My colleagues and I wish him and his family the best and know he will continue to make a positive impact in his community.”
