WEST ALLIS, WI — Angelito Tenorio announced today that he has earned the endorsement of 28 current and former elected officials from Milwaukee County in his campaign for State Treasurer, including County Executive David Crowley and eight state legislators.

“Angelito Tenorio is uniquely qualified to be our next State Treasurer with his service in the National Guard, experience in non-profit financial management, and leadership overseeing a budget of over $130 million on the West Allis finance committee,” said Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley. “Angelito’s vision for the office of Treasurer will move our state forward and his dedication to servant leadership will be a benefit to all Wisconsinites when he takes office.”

“Angelito is an incredibly dedicated and passionate public servant,” said West Allis Mayor Dan Devine. “From leading the successful effort to ban LGBTQ+ conversion therapy in West Allis, to passing a resolution supporting our AAPI community, Angelito’s constant drive to make West Allis a better place to live, for everyone, has made a true difference in our city and I know he’ll bring that same energy to make Wisconsin a better place as State Treasurer.”

“Wisconsin needs a State Treasurer who will build on the incredible work Treasurer Sarah Godlewski has accomplished during her tenure, and Angelito is the candidate to continue that legacy,” said Milwaukee Alderwoman JoCasta Zamarripa. “From investing in green energy, infrastructure, and schools, to promoting financial literacy and retirement security, the office of State Treasurer is too important not to elect someone like Angelito who will utilize the office to its full potential ”
