[Fond du Lac, WI…] The Eric Toney for Attorney General campaign today announced new sheriff and district attorney endorsements, including Shawano County Sheriff Adam Bieber.
Sheriff Bieber said he is “proud” to endorse Eric Toney as he joined Pierce County Sheriff Nancy Hove as well as 3 new district attorney endorsements for Toney’s attorney general campaign. The Fond du Lac County District Attorney has quickly become law enforcement’s choice for ‘top cop” racking up more than 80 endorsements from sheriffs, district attorneys, and police chiefs.
“Eric Toney will fight crime and election fraud, protect our constitutional rights and liberties, and support law enforcement as he fights to restore law and order in Wisconsin,” said Sheriff Adam Bieber. “We need a frontline prosecutor who’s put violent criminals behind bars to lead the Department Justice, and I’m proud to endorse Eric Toney for attorney general.”
Sheriff Bieber was a vocal opponent of Gov. Tony Evers Safer at Home order penning an open letter to the governor to lighten the restrictions. District Attorney Toney dismissed any and all charges related to the Safer at Home order, rejected the mask mandate, and spearheaded a countywide task force to safely reopen Fond du Lac businesses, schools and churches.
Additional new endorsements include:
- Pierce County Sheriff Nancy Hove
- Waupaca County District Attorney Veronica Isherwood
- Chippewa County District Attorney Wade Newell
- Oconto County District Attorney Edward Burke
In addition, District Attorney Toney is also unanimously endorsed by the Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police and the Milwaukee Police Association representing thousands of men and women on the frontlines of law enforcement from across the state.
