WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Congressman Bryan Steil (WI-01) was sworn in to the 117th Congress. Steil begins his second term as the Representative of Wisconsin’s First Congressional District.

“It is an honor to work and advocate for families, workers, and veterans from Southeast Wisconsin. Every day, I will continue to defend our freedoms, strengthen our communities, and protect our rights that make America the greatest country in the world. I remain committed to solving the issues facing our nation and being available and accessible to Southeast Wisconsin,” said Steil.

Steil was first elected to Congress in 2018. In the 116th Congress, Steil was a member of the House Financial Services Committee and co-founder and co-chair of the Congressional Future of Work Caucus. Throughout his first term in office, Steil held 14 in-person town hall, numerous telephone town hall, and held hundreds of meetings with constituents.
