Joins ‘Hannity’ to discuss media bias and January 6 commission

WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) on Tuesday joined Fox News’ ‘Hannity’ to discuss the mainstream media’s refusal to cover Hunter Biden and the possible security and counter-intelligence risk his business dealings pose and Speaker Pelosi’s sham commission on the events surrounding January 6.

A video of the interview can be found here, and excerpts are below.

On January 6 commission:

“Well of course that’s one of the biggest problems with this commission, is commissioners are going to be named by congressional leaders including Speaker Pelosi who is, let’s face it, ultimately responsible for securing the Capitol. If there were security lapses, and there were, she needs to be held accountable as well and if she’s picking commissioners, that will never happen.”

On media bias:

“When we issued our report the media completely dismissed it and said there was nothing new there. There is all kinds of new information. It described a vast web of foreign financial entanglements, and I said at the time, this is only what we can find. My guess is this is just the tip of the iceberg. Now the article, The Daily Wire, they’re documenting another 13, 14 other countries, as you said not exactly the most upstanding countries in the world. This is just completely sleazy and from my standpoint it does represent a counter-intelligence risk, certainly an extortion risk. That’s what we warned back in September of 2020. The media ignored it, unfortunately too many voters ignored it. Now we’ve got this big old mess on our hands, and I’ve said this isn’t going away, and it’s not.”
