WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) joined Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” Sunday morning to discuss President Biden’s failed policies in advance of the president’s visit to Wisconsin and to preview the senator’s Milwaukee press conference to highlight stories of those suffering adverse effects to the COVID-19 vaccines.

A video of the interview can be found here, and excerpts are below.

On Biden’s trip to Wisconsin:

“What President Biden’s going to notice here in Wisconsin is, there’s not a business in Wisconsin that can hire enough workers. We need a functioning legal immigration system. … The other thing is the federal unemployment benefits, the plus-up of three hundred dollars per week, are keeping workers on the sidelines. It’s a huge problem here in Wisconsin that’s going to really stifle our economic recovery as well, so hopefully he’ll listen to employers here in Wisconsin – he’ll get an earful.”

On Biden administration’s failed polices:

“The fact of the matter is that President Biden is just in a state of denial that his policies caused the crisis on the border, and that his policies are also really preventing a full recovery.”

On previewing Monday’s press conference:

“All of us at that event are pro-vaccine. We celebrate the fact that we have the vaccine and that it has probably saved hundreds of thousands of lives. So we celebrate that fact, but I have been concerned since early March that the CDC is ignoring their own early warning system, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, that to date has reported 4,812 deaths after people have been vaccinated – and by the way, that compares to 31 years’ worth of their reported 5,039 deaths. So just in six months, we’ve almost approached the number of deaths as the VAERS system has reported in 31 years of reporting, and the CDC is just ignoring it.”

“Ken Ruettgers, the former Green Bay Packers star, reached out to me –  his wife had a very serious neurological side effect, or adverse effect, and he got connected to a group of women that just want to be seen, they want to be heard, they want to be believed  and I’m going to help them be seen, heard, believed and at least taken seriously.”

On Big tech censorship:

“With the internet during the pandemic, the internet could have been used to completely disseminate and exchange useful medical information as doctors are trying to deal with this. Instead, they censored and they suppressed information on early treatment.”
