HOLLANDALE, Wis. — Pecatonica Area School District Superintendent and candidate for Wisconsin State Superintendent Jill Underly has released her first television ad, running statewide on broadcast and cable television beginning today.
The 30-second advertisement highlights Jill Underly’s record of high student achievement, expansion of preschool and daycare in her district, and her record of sound financial management. In the ad, Underly also highlights her opponent’s troubling record of covering up a half million dollar financial scandal in the Brown Deer School District.
“Every child, no matter their zip code, should have access to a great public education,” says Dr. Underly in the ad. “As a former teacher and superintendent I know what it takes. I’ve led schools to high student achievement; I’ve expanded preschool; and I’ve balanced budgets.”
“My opponent has proven she can’t be trusted,” she continues. “She tried to cover up a half-million dollar school financial scandal. Our kids deserve better.”
