During our first GivingTuesday campaign, we raised more than $50,000, enabling the opening of our first office.  During the past year, we have raised over $300,000 from 1,587 donations and leveraged approximately $3M in grants, enabling us to expand rapidly and open a 2nd office in less than 1 year.  We’re always striving to do more for the individuals and families we support, and this GivingTuesday is no exception.   Funds raised this year will go towards the purchase of two vans to provide transportation for participants of our Supporting Healthy Black Workgroups including our  Agriculture Initiative. Allowing us to transport participants to and from Mt. Horeb Hemp Farm where we aim to grow and harvest food.  In addition to providing transportation to participants, vans will be used for Urban Triage outreach efforts.  Support our vision while supporting those in need. Donate to our GivingTuesday Campaign.

As you may know, Madison’s transportation system is difficult for many–access to public transit is a headache.  So much so that it takes a couple of hours to get from point A to point B when it takes 20 minutes in a car.  Be a part of the efforts to move our community forward by investing in transportation and investing in the organization that takes pride in doing the work.  Urban Triage’s core services are rooted in health, wellness, food access, trauma recovery, advocacy, housing, and entrepreneurship. Adding transportation would not only expand our capacity to serve, but it will also allow us to show up in a powerful way for community members who are the most vulnerable.

Donate to Urban Triage on GivingTuesday–which is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations. Our Campaign kicks off today, November 17th, and will continue until Giving Tuesday on November 30, 2021.
