Green Bay, Wis.—The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Austin E. Cofrin School of Business is proud to welcome alumnus Luc Francillon ‘91, chief financial officer of Mars Retail Group, to its advisory board.

Francillon is a strategic business leader with 30 years of progressive, multi-cultural, global business experience. As a key strategic contributor and member of a Global Management Team at Mars, Inc., Francillon provides financial leadership and governance for the organization around the world. He has extensive experience in leading multiple functions (finance and procurement) globally and specifically in Asia Pacific.

“Luc has an amazing personal and professional story, and his leadership on the board will help guide the enhancement of our international programing and inspire our students to take smart risks and recognize challenges as opportunities,” said Matt Dornbush, dean of the Cofrin School of Business.

His background includes three management team positions with Mars in Asia and globally, helping to launch a Mars business venture start-up, and facilitating the integrations of small businesses into Mars, as well as the divestiture of a Mars business.

“Even working within a big corporation, I find I’m drawn to the entrepreneurial ventures that allow me to make the greatest impact. I enjoy being part of building something, and I plan to bring that insight to the Cofrin School of Business Advisory Board,” said Francillon.

Prior to Mars, Francillon obtained key experiences with Dean Foods, Unilever, and Dreyers’ Grand Ice Cream.

Fluent in French and English, Francillon holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from UW-Green Bay.
