ICYMI: Derrick Van Orden Joins Meg Ellefson To Discuss Why Wisconsin’s 3rd District Needs New, Bold Leadership
PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI – Derrick Van Orden joined Meg Ellefson yesterday on WSAU to discuss the challenges facing Wisconsin’s 3rd District and why new, bold leadership is necessary in the district after more than two decades of Ron Kind. Derrick and Meg discussed important issues in the district, veteran healthcare, the Biden Administration’s foreign policy failures, and more.
You can listen to the full interview HERE and see below for a excerpt from the interview with Derrick.
Derrick Van Orden: “Unfortunately, Ron started off I think as a fairly good guy honestly a couple decades ago, and then he went to Washington DC and they chewed him up and spit him out. He’s in it for the money now and its rather disappointing to see that happen to somebody, but it did. He was swallowed up by the swamp and that’s where he resides, so it’s time for new bold leadership. Ron votes with Nancy Pelosi 97% of the time and that does not reflect our values here in Western Wisconsin.”
