WEST ALLIS, Wis. – The Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation today announced it will be awarding $55,350 in grants to 13 charitable oral care programs to support the dental needs of Badger-state residents.
The Wisconsin nonprofits awarded WDA Foundation grants for 2021 are:
- Affordable Dental Care, Inc. (Dane County) – $4,350
- Bread of Healing Clinic (Milwaukee County) – $3,500
- Chippewa Valley Technical College Dental Clinic (Chippewa County) – $4,550
- Door County Medical Center Dental Clinic – $4,450
- Fowler Memorial Free Dental Clinic (Green County) – $4,350
- HealthNet of Rock County, Inc. – $4,650
- Lake Area Free Clinic (Waukesha County) – $4,350
- More Smiles Wisconsin (Dane County) – $4,450
- Open Arms Free Clinic, Inc. (Walworth County) – $3,500
- Oral Health Partnership (Brown County) – $4,350
- St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care (Milwaukee County) – $4,150
- Tri-County Dental Clinic (Outagamie, Calumet and Winnebago counties) – $4,350
- Waukesha County Community Dental Clinic – $4,350
Each year, the WDA Foundation Grant Program provides financial support to Wisconsin-based efforts that provide dental care to the underserved and to other philanthropic endeavors related to dentistry in the state. The program’s goal is to increase access to, and education relating to, oral health care and to encourage volunteerism in the dental health community. Since 2000, the WDA Foundation has awarded nearly $1 million in grants.
