The Wisconsin Education Association Council has issued the following statement following Governor Tony Evers’ budget address. The comments can be attributed to Ron Martin, WEAC President:
“This budget honestly reflects the investments Wisconsin needs to recover from the pandemic and advance to a better place. Governor Tony Evers’ proposal embraces equity in school funding, cares for the most vulnerable among us and demonstrates respect for workers. Through Governor Evers budget we have the opportunity to come together and express Wisconsin values by getting this budget passed.”
