-- The Senate Economic and Workforce Development Committee has a public hearing scheduled today that includes testimony on two of Gov. Tony Evers' cabinet picks.
The committee will hear testimony on Missy Hughes' appointment to lead WEDC and Amy Pechacek's to be secretary of DWD.
Evers nominated Hughes in September 2019 to lead the economic development agency. He was delayed in picking a leader until eight months into his term by a law Republicans approved in the December 2018 ...
