Reconstruction work continues over the winter months at the I-39/90 and I-43/WIS 81 interchange (Exit 185) in Beloit. During two nights in early January, crews will set girders for the new WIS 81 bridge over I-39/90. Sections of I-39/90 and I-43 near the Beloit interchange will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 and Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Motorists must follow the signed detour routes during the overnight closures.
Drivers are urged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to reach their destination. These closures are weather dependent and subject to change.
