MADISON, WISCONSIN – Young Americans for Freedom at the University of Wisconsin-Madison will be hosting United States Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Daily Wire contributor Michael Knowles for a live recording of their podcast, Verdict with Ted Cruz.
The event will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 7 P.M. in Shannon Hall at Memorial Union, located at 800 Langdon St., Madison, WI 53703.
“Wisconsin YAF is looking forward to hosting two of the most prominent fighters in the Conservative Movement,” said Wisconsin YAF Chairman Blake Weiner. “After more than 18 months of enduring critical race theory and other leftist ideas in Zoom classrooms, this visit from Senator Cruz and Michael Knowles will help us reassert the presence of conservative values in one of America’s most liberal college towns and take us behind the scenes of today’s most important debates.”
In addition to recording their chart-topping podcast before a live audience, Senator Cruz and Mr. Knowles will field questions from University of Wisconsin-Madison students and members of the public in attendance. The event will also be livestreamed on Young America’s Foundation’s YouTube channel.
This event was made possible with the generous support of Young America’s Foundation, as well as the Center for the Study for Liberal Democracy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Tickets will be made available to the public free of charge through the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Campus Arts Ticketing, and can be found here.
