MADISON, Wis. — Right in time for the holidays, Wisconsin drivers are seeing lower prices at the pump. Just two weeks ago, President Biden united other nations to take substantive steps to stabilize oil prices and release 50 million barrels of oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
As gas prices fall, Wisconsinites are celebrating lower costs this holiday season — with experts predicting gas prices will continue to drop even further. With President Biden cutting costs for middle-class families and Gov. Evers cutting middle-class taxes by 15 percent, Democrats are delivering for working Wisconsinites.

Fox 11 News: Green Bay gas prices drop below $3 a gallon
- “Green Bay gas prices have fallen 6.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.95/g today, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 127 stations. That’s down 16.3 cents per gallon from a month ago.”
Seehafer News: Wisconsin Gas Prices Dropping
- “Gas prices are on the decline in Wisconsin. According to Triple-A, the average price for regular unleaded is three dollars and four cents per gallon. That’s down over five cents from last week and down over ten cents from last month. The average price in Madison is $3.01 a gallon, also down significantly from last month.”
