MADISON, Wis. — Since Radical Rebecca Kleefisch announced her run for governor, it’s time to revisit some of her most controversial comments to remind Wisconsinites why they rejected her in the first place.

She said what? Kleefisch holds intolerant views on the LGBTQ community that have no place in Wisconsin. On this day in 2010, Kleefisch attempted to walk back her remarks that allowing gay marriage could be a “slippery slope” that could lead to people marrying “dogs” or “inanimate objects” such as a “clock” or a “table.” This is a tactic straight from the GOP playbook – using divisive, horrific language as a way to divide us.

Listen to her full statement here.

We just have one question: Does Rebecca Kleefisch still stand by her radical position on marriage equality?
