Madison, Wis. — Today, Senator Ron Johnson continued his crusade against bipartisanship as he voted to block debate on a bipartisan infrastructure bill that would be a boon for Wisconsin’s workers and economy. In response, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Senate Communications Advisor Philip Shulman released the following statement:
“Ron Johnson faced a clear choice – open up debate on a badly needed infrastructure bill that would help Wisconsin communities or continue to play self-serving political games. Yet again Johnson chose himself, leading the opposition to the bipartisan effort and refusing to even consider working together to get things done for Wisconsin.”
