Dept. of Natural Resources: 75 trees planted at Devil’s Lake State Park

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is proud to be the beneficiary of a grant that led to 75 trees planted at Devil’s Lake State Park on Arbor Day (April 29). Devil’s Lake Climbing Guides received a $6,500 grant from Trees Forever and Alliant Energy’s Community Tree Program: One Million Trees Initiative to purchase and plant the trees at the park’s Quartzite and Northern Lights campgrounds and North Shore parking lot. Dept. of Natural Resources: DNR receives first funds from federal bipartisan infrastructure law

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the department received $1,397,697 from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to continue addressing contamination at an extensive Superfund site. The funding is the first the DNR has received as part of the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
