Waukesha County Public Works: Highway construction planned in Waukesha County

(WAUKESHA, WI) – Waukesha County Public Works is planning to replace the culvert structure on County Highway K at Pewaukee River Tributary in the Village of Sussex. The project site is located on CTH K just east of State Highway 164. Construction is expected to begin on October 5, 2022 and conclude 21 days later.   During construction, CTH K (Lisbon Road) will be closed to traffic at the project location. Fusion startup aims to help offset greenhouse gas emissions

A Madison-based startup called Realta Fusion aims to develop commercially viable fusion technology that could help offset global greenhouse gas emissions.  Kieran Furlong, the company’s CEO, said the UW-Madison spinoff company is working to create the “lowest capital, least complex path” to fusion energy production. DNR: New accessible playground at Peninsula State Park now open

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the opening of the new accessible Nicolet Beach Playground at Peninsula State Park.
