Building Back Together today announced a six-figure digital ad campaign across three states, including Wisconsin, touting the Biden administration’s student debt relief plan. Building Back Together is an advocacy group that supports Biden-Harris administration policies. The spot will also run in Nevada and Pennsylvania. The ad shows popular memes over the sound of a dubstep remix repeating how much debt eligible people can have forgiven. Barnes ad targets Johnson over abortion

Dem Mandela Barnes’ campaign is again knocking U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Oshkosh, over abortion in a new TV ad. The narrator in the spot says “extremist right-wing politicians are trying to pass a permanent ban on abortions,” but they “won’t stop there.” The narrator adds Johnson cosponsored legislation that would have banned abortions with no exceptions for rape, incest or the life of the woman. “And Johnson said if women don’t like their abortion laws, we can just move,” the narrator says to close the spot. “But it’s Ron Johnson who doesn’t belong in Wisconsin.”

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the Village of Spencer is an applicant for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) to address deficiencies in its public drinking water system. The project includes the construction of a new well, wellhouse, and treatment system in the Village of Spencer. Activities related to this project are minor actions under Chapter NR 150, Wis. Admin. Code, for which no environmental analysis is required; however, following the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program federal requirement 40 C.F.R. §35.3580, an environmental review must be conducted before funding this project.
