Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors: I-94 Fix-At-Six Resolution recommended for adoption by Milwaukee County Transportation and Transit Committee

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – On Tuesday, November 29, The Committee on Transportation and Transit recommended for adoption [3-1] a resolution calling upon the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to reconstruct Interstate 94 (I-94) between 70th Street and 16th Street with six lanes, or “Fix at Six,” and opposing the eight-lane alternative. County Supervisor Peter Burgelis authored the resolution and made the following statement.  “For years WIS-DOT has engaged community partners and nearby residents and modified previous design options for the I-94 reconstruction project. NorthStar completes construction, equipment installation at Beloit facility

NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes has finished construction and equipment installation at its Beloit production facility, federal officials announced.  In a release yesterday, the National Nuclear Security Administration said this facility will “significantly increase domestic production capability” for a widely used medical isotope called molybdenum-99 once it’s approved by regulators. MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) cautions Wisconsin investors to avoid FTX.US and FTX.COM websites as they may be corrupted by malware and/or experiencing cyber-attacks following the bankruptcy of U.S. based cryptocurrency exchange FTX.US along with FTX.COM and 130+ other businesses (“FTX”) affiliated with founder Sam Bankman-Fried. Investors should also beware of “reload” scams where fraudsters purport to help recoup funds that are locked in accounts or otherwise unavailable.
