Gov. Tony Evers launched the 12th TV ad of his campaign today, a new spot that says he’s fixing the roads.
The ad is part of a previously announced $3.5 million buy through the Aug. 9 primary.
The spot shows Evers driving a red pickup as the narrator says Evers has repaired nearly 5,000 miles of roads after years of neglect. The narrator adds that would stretch from “Chequamegon Bay all the way to Miami, and all the way back.”
Evers then says, “Folks, politics doesn’t have to be divisive. I’ll work with anybody, Republicans or Democrats, to get the results that matter.”
