Hi, I’m State Senator Mary Felzkowski of the 12th Senate District. I want to take this time to remind everyone that July is Independent Retailers Month.
Independent Retailers Month celebrates individuals and companies that have built their own brand and made their own way without the help of an already established company. This pathway to success is hard and requires determination and persistence.
This month we take the time to appreciate the hard work of these business men and women in our communities. This month also sheds a bright light on these independent retailers, with the intention of encouraging folks to shop at their local businesses. I hope that you can find a way to support independent retailers not only in the month of July but throughout the year. Please take the time to show appreciation towards an independent retailer near you.
