Hi, this is Representative Greta Neubauer with this week’s Democratic radio address.
Thanksgiving is a great time to take stock of all that is going well in our state.
Wisconsin currently finds itself in one of the strongest economic periods in our history. We are in a unique position with a projected $6.6 billion surplus.
The time is now to use these dollars to support our friends and neighbors who are struggling with rising costs and pass one of the surplus plans put forward by Governor Evers.
We cannot continue to hoard these dollars in the coffers in Madison. And Republican leaders need to come to the table. This is the people’s money. It’s past time that we invest these dollars back into our communities.
