MADISON, Wis. – Agrace has appointed Dr. Patricia Neuman to be its vice president of medical services. A nonprofit health care organization, Agrace provides hospice care, supportive (palliative) care, non-medical personal care, adult day services and grief support across southern Wisconsin.
Neuman is board-certified in hospice and palliative care and as a hospice medical director. She has served as a hospice and palliative physician for Agrace since 2018 and served as interim medical director until being named vice president of medical services.
In her new role, Neuman will lead and guide the performance of the team of hospice physicians and nurse practitioners who provide care to the nearly 1,100 hospice care patients Agrace serves daily. She will serve on the organization’s Leadership Council and work to ensure that quality patient care is consistently delivered, meeting all agency guidelines, and state and federal standards.
“Dr. Neuman has been a valued member of Agrace’s medical services team,” said Agrace president and CEO Lynne Sexten. “Her compassion, expertise and unique experiences at Agrace make her a commendable leader.”
Neuman joined Agrace from Unity Hospice and Palliative Care, where she was medical director. There, she provided oversight and thought leadership to the medical directors and hospice physicians on staff.
