Alliant Energy: Promotes Diggers Hotline Excavator Safety Awareness program

Contractors, excavators, builders, landscapers and municipal and utility workers are encouraged to attend

MADISON, Wis. – January 17, 2021 – Alliant Energy is participating in the Diggers Hotline 2022 Excavator Safety Awareness Program. Annually, from January through March, Diggers Hotline holds a series of safety meetings throughout the state to promote safe digging practices and emphasize the importance of calling 811 before you dig.

Contractors, excavators, builders, landscapers, municipal workers and utility workers are encouraged to attend. Each two-hour session begins with a meal, followed by a safety-focused program and finishes with door prizes. There is no fee to attend, but registration is required at diggershotline.com.

All in-person sessions begin at 7 a.m. The three virtual sessions begin at 9 a.m.
