A new report from CNN found that the Department of Homeland Security, FBI, US Capitol Police and National Counterterrorism Center are warning “that perceptions of election fraud will likely result in heightened threats of violence.” Despite these warnings, Senate GOP candidates across the country continue to recklessly spread conspiracies ahead of election day.
- Blake Masters is already claiming that his election will be stolen and has refused to say whether or not he will accept the results of his election.
- Adam Laxalt started spreading doubt 14 months before the election, suggesting that the 2022 election would be fraudulent and has promised to pursue legal action following the election.
- Don Bolduc has constantly spread election conspiracy theories leading up to next week. He’s claimed that New Hampshire has voter fraud and a system that can’t be trusted, that changes to the vote tally will unexplainably happen overnight, and has claimed that the debunked 2020 election conspiracy theory that voters were bussed in from out-of-state will happen again.
- Mehmet Oz has been gearing up for a legal fight in Pennsylvania in case Democrats “start changing the laws…because they’re behind and they want to get extra votes”. Meanwhile, Trump is looking to challenge the results of the Pennsylvania Senate race “as a ‘dress rehearsal for Trump 2024”’.
