MILWAUKEE, WI — The Chief Deputy of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, Dr. Denita Ball, announced today that she has earned the endorsement of three Milwaukee County Supervisors: Sup. Sheldon Wasserman, Sup. Willie Johnson, Jr., and Sup. Russell Antonio Goodwin, Sr.

“As the current Undersheriff for Milwaukee County, Dr. Denita Ball has been the driving force for many improvements that have been made in the agency,” said Sup. Wasserman. “With over 35 years of law enforcement and public service experience and her expertise with running the daily operations of the agency for the last three years, Dr. Ball is uniquely qualified to be Milwaukee County’s next Sheriff.”

“Dr. Denita Ball has over 35 years of criminal justice experience and has dedicated her life to public service,” said Sup. Johnson. “It is clear that she has the education, experience, and qualifications to lead the agency and continue to improve how it serves Milwaukee County residents. I wholeheartedly endorse her for this important role.”

“As a longtime resident of Milwaukee with over 35 years of experience, Dr. Denita Ball has the expertise, knowledge, and lived experience needed to be our next Milwaukee County Sheriff,” said Sup. Goodwin. “I know that Dr. Ball is the right candidate to take the helm of the office and continue the critical work needed to make our County safer and stronger for all families.”

“I am humbled to have the endorsement of these three public servants who share my dedication to improving our County for all of us,” said Dr. Ball. “I’m running for Sheriff to continue the critical work needed to reverse the recent rise in violent crime.
