MILWAUKEE, WI — The Chief Deputy of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, Dr. Denita Ball, announced today that she has earned the endorsements of more than 40 current and former law enforcement professionals in her campaign for Sheriff, including five Chiefs of Police.
“Dr. Denita Ball has more than 35 years of experience as a law enforcement practitioner and criminal justice educator, a doctoral degree, and has been managing the operations of the Sheriff’s Office for over three years,” said Regina Howard, former Assistant Chief of the Milwaukee Police Department. “Her qualifications and dedication to improving the law enforcement profession clearly distinguish her as the best choice to lead the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.”
“Denita Ball has dedicated her life to public service and served the Milwaukee Police Department for more than two decades,” said Arthur Jones, former Chief of the Milwaukee Police Department. “Denita has proven her commitment to Milwaukee County and she has my wholehearted support to be our next Sheriff.”
