Dem Mandela Barnes’ campaign is again knocking U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Oshkosh, over abortion in a new TV ad.
The narrator in the spot says “extremist right-wing politicians are trying to pass a permanent ban on abortions,” but they “won’t stop there.”
The narrator adds Johnson cosponsored legislation that would have banned abortions with no exceptions for rape, incest or the life of the woman.
“And Johnson said if women don’t like their abortion laws, we can just move,” the narrator says to close the spot. “But it’s Ron Johnson who doesn’t belong in Wisconsin.”
