MADISON, WI — Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes, candidate for U.S. Senate, today announced the Working for Wisconsin tour, a week-long statewide swing to highlight the issues most important to communities across Wisconsin.

“This campaign is about rebuilding the middle class and giving everyone a fair shot at the American dream,” said Mandela Barnes. “During the Working for Wisconsin tour, I’ll talk directly to Wisconsinites who want a leader in Washington who understands what they’re going through and will prioritize them, not the ultra-wealthy or big corporations. In every corner of this state, we all have so much more in common with each other than we will ever have with an out-of-touch, self-serving millionaire like Ron Johnson.”

On the Working for Wisconsin tour, Mandela will speak with communities and coalitions across the state about the specific challenges they face including farmers, labor leaders, Black community leaders, women, and small business owners.

Mandela will make over a dozen stops between Wednesday, August 10 and Thursday, August 18. He will hold events in counties across the state including Milwaukee County, Dane County, La Crosse County, Eau Claire County, Brown County, Douglas County, and more.
