In an effort to distract from Ron Johnson’s long record of delivering only for his special interest donors, a Super PAC funded by those very same donors, Wisconsin Truth PAC, is now falsely attacking Lt. Governor Barnes for his plan to cut taxes on the middle class while ensuring big corporations pay their fair share.

“Mandela knows that Wisconsinites don’t want handouts, they just want a fair shot — and they’ll never get that with Ron Johnson in the Senate,” said Maddy McDaniel, communications director for Mandela Barnes for Wisconsin. “Johnson has rigged the system for his wealthiest donors, while working families have paid the price. That’s why Mandela wants to fix our tax system so middle class families get the tax cuts they deserve, and pay for it by making sure big corporations and the wealthiest among us — like Ron Johnson’s wealthy donors — pay their fair share in taxes.”
