MADISON — Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes has massively outraised the Democratic primary field – and Ron Johnson.

Mandela continues to lead with grassroots momentum this quarter:

  • $1.23 million raised, outperforming his previous quarter
  • $43.65 average donation
  • 17,830 total donors
  • 27,252 individual donations
  • Not one dime in Corporate PAC money
  • No self-funding
Kory Kozloski, Mandela Barnes for Wisconsin campaign manager, released the following statement:

“For the second quarter in a row, Mandela Barnes has proven that he is the only candidate in the race with the grassroots support and momentum needed to unite Wisconsin and retire Ron Johnson once and for all. Wisconsin working families are throwing their support behind Mandela: a leader who understands the challenges they face and will be a voice for them — not wealthy special interests — in the United States Senate. The outpouring of small dollar donations from every county across the state is proof that voters are fired up and eager to unite behind Mandela’s vision for Wisconsin.”
